Ted Hill, MS, CMFS
MBHA President

Ted Hill has been associated with the Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance for more than ten years and was one of the original board members of MBHA.  He is a skilled facilitator and greatly enjoys working with improvisational dance. Ted has been involved in metaphysics for more than 30 years and has more than 20 years teaching experience working at an adult school in Monterey County. He has professionally facilitated the work by Byron Katie, American speaker and author who teaches a method of self-inquiry known as "The Work of Byron Katie" or simply as "The Work" which emphasizes that "suffering is optional" and teaches others how to identify and release stressful thoughts. Ted holds a Masters Degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, and has facilitated five month-long programs at Esalen Institute, a nonprofit organization, residential community and retreat center in Big Sur, California, which focuses upon humanistic alternative education. Esalen is devoted to activities such as personal growth, meditation, massage, Gestalt, yoga, psychology, ecology, spirituality, and organic food.  Ted became our MBHA Board President in May of 2014.

Matthew Dart has been associated with the the Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance as since its early beginnings in 2001.  He has been a major financial contributor since that time.  Matt Dart is a certified Energetic Master Level Teacher and Practitioner a certified Sound Therapist, and has presented workshops on energetic and vibrational healing. He was born severely deaf with cerebral palsy and his challenges have allowed him to be sympathetic and passionate about health and wellness. Matt also works as the MBHA editor of the "Think FWD" newsletter. He currently serves as an MBHA Board member and the Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance Chief Financial Officer and Secretary/Treasurer.  His efforts helped MBHA become a tax-exempt 501 (C) 3 health education nonprofit in 2005.

Steve Michael Blumenthal - CFS, CBA, LUTCF, has been helping clients with their financial, tax, estate and insurance planning concerns for the past 40 years, as a financial consultant. As an international and domestic asset management and planning consultant, he helps his clients to preserve and protect personal and business assets from legal attacks, and the devaluation of the dollar. Mr. Blumenthal was selected for inclusion in the 1995-1996 and 1999-2000 Editions of Who's Who In Executives and Professionals. He is a graduate of San Jose State University and has been in the Monterey Peninsula area since 1958. He and his wife Linda founded the Geneva Institute International. The Geneva Institute International is a private membership church ministry, dedicated to teaching mankind how to physically and spiritually survive and successfully conquer many challenges: spiritual, physical, emotional, and financial.

Rabia has been associated with MBHA since 2006 as a Health Educator. She joined the board in 2015. She Rabia has been in private practice and teaching since 1983. Skilled in several modalities, she is able to customize her approach to each client’s needs. Out of her commitment to her own awakening, Rabia assists clients in going beyond their conditioned identity. Currently, she practices in Monterey, California. As we explore the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies they come into alignment, allowing us to step back into who we are. When enough of the conditioned responses to life have peeled off, two things remain: ecstasy and stillness.Born in Turkey, raised there and in Germany, Rabia Erduman has a BA in Psychology, is a Certified Hypnotherapist, a Registered Polarity Practitioner, and a Visionary Craniosacral Worker. She teaches Intuitive Touch, Polarity Therapy, Tantra, and Spiritual Awakening workshops.

Linda G. Blumenthal is a retired Salinas High School District English teacher.  She is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Masters degree in English Literature. Linda has been editing books since she retired antutd has a business called PICKY EDITING. She is currently working part-time as a substitute teacher and is a licensed insurance professional with an expertise in educational financial planning. She and her husband Steve both work as business consultants to help others save money and create successful financial strategies. Linda her husband Steve founded the Geneva Institute International. The Geneva Institute International is a private membership church ministry, dedicated to teaching mankind how to physically and spiritually survive and thrive in tumultuous times.

Jean Dart, M.S., RMT

Executive Director

Jean Dart is the founder of the Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance. She has over thirty years experience with nonprofits in the area of education.  She has worked as a special education teacher, workshop facilitator, adult education teacher, grant writer and resource specialist for physically, mentally, socially and emotionally challenged children and adults.  She is a registered music therapist, RMT, with a Masters Degree in Special Education, teaching music privately and in public, charter schools, and special schools to individuals and groups.  Jean is also a certified Master level Energetic Teacher and Practitioner, a certified Sound Therapist., and a performing musician and recording artist.  She hosted the local PBS television show, "Making Miracles Happen" for two years on AMP (Access Monterey Peninsula). Jean is a a skilled writer and editor for the Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance Think FWD newsletter.  She authored the Music Motor Assessment System, a diagnostic methodology for using musical instruments to help strengthen motor movements. Jean is currently retired.  She continues to present health education workshops, is an Adult Literacy volunteer for Monterey County, and enjoys serving as Executive Director for MBHA.
