History of MBHA

The Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance (MBHA) was founded in 2000 by Jean and Matthew Dart and Barbara Newman. Barbara soon stepped aside, leaving Jean and Matt as directors and primary financial supporters.

Over the years, MBHA has blossomed to becoming a tax-exempt, 501(c) 3 health education nonprofit organization,  providing events, health article blog, monthly newsletter, products,  videos, conline directory,  charitable, "Hearts to Hands"   program,   alternative and complimentary medicine glossary, and more than 40,000 followers on social media.
